So maybe I was wrong about a 3G iPhone…

The fine folks over at Gizmodo are reporting that AT&T Mobility CEO Ralph de la Vega has strongly hinted that a 3G iPhone will be available within a few months. That would dovetail nicely with reports that the stock of iPhones available in Apple Retail Stores is dwindling, and AT&T seems to be unloading a lot of their refurb iPhone units – suggesting that a refresh on the iPhone line may be immanent.

According to Gizmodo:

De la Vega responded, “Let me repeat what I said: I think that you’re going to see our integrated devices be 3G devices in the not-too-distant future, and I mean months. That should be clear enough.”

I’ll keep you posted as I hear more
